Hawaiian Banana Bread

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

Step 2: Cream the Butter and Sugar

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Step 3: Add the Eggs and Banana

Beat in the eggs, one at a time, making sure each is fully incorporated.

Stir in the mashed banana and crushed pineapple (with its juice) until the mixture is smooth.

Step 4: Mix the Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

Step 5: Combine

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Step 6: Bake

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60–70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Step 7: Cool and Serve

Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
