If using a grill, preheat to medium-high heat (about 375°F or 190°C).
If using the oven, preheat to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the Foil Packets:
Tear off four large sheets of aluminum foil, about 12×12 inches each.
Drizzle a small amount of olive oil in the center of each foil sheet to prevent sticking.
Prepare the Ingredients:
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with the minced garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until the spices are evenly distributed.
Divide the seasoned ground beef mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty or crumble it slightly, depending on your preference.
Slice the potatoes thinly and chop the onion and bell pepper into bite-sized pieces.
Assemble the Packets:
Place one beef patty or crumbled portion in the center of each piece of foil.
Surround the beef with the sliced potatoes, chopped onion, bell pepper, and corn.
If desired, add a pat of butter on top of the beef for extra richness.
Fold the sides of the foil over the ingredients and seal the packet tightly to keep all the flavors inside.
Cook the Foil Packets:
On the Grill: Place the foil packets on the grill and cook for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through for even cooking.
In the Oven: Place the foil packets on a baking sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the meat is cooked through.
Optional – Add Cheese:
For an extra touch, open the packets during the last 5 minutes of cooking and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the beef. Close the packets and allow the cheese to melt.
Serve:
Carefully open the foil packets (be cautious of hot steam) and serve directly from the packet or transfer to plates.
