Grilled Steak with Crispy Potato Puffs and Herb-Infused Bread Chips – A Gourmet Meal at Home

Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
Brush the ribeye steaks with olive oil and season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Place fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs on the grill to infuse the steaks with extra flavor.
Grill the steaks for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time based on your preferred level of doneness.
Once grilled to your liking, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Step 2: Make the Potato Puffs
In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated potatoes with flour, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well to form a thick, slightly sticky mixture.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.
Using a spoon, drop spoonfuls of the potato mixture into the hot oil, flattening them slightly to form small puffs. Fry for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
Remove the potato puffs from the oil and drain them on paper towels. Set aside.
Step 3: Make the Bread Chips
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Brush both sides of the bread slices with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Once baked, remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley or chives for added flavor.
Step 4: Assemble the Dish
Arrange the grilled ribeye steaks on a platter and slice them into strips.
Place the crispy potato puffs and herb-infused bread chips alongside the steak.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or chives and additional seasoning to taste.
