Grilled Corn on the Cob: Perfectly Charred and Delicious

If you prefer to grill the corn with the husks on, peel back the husks and remove the silk, then fold the husks back over the corn. Soak the corn in water for about 10-15 minutes before grilling to prevent the husks from burning.

For husk-free corn, peel off the husks entirely, removing all the silk.

Step 2: Season the Corn
Brush the corn with olive oil or melted butter to coat the kernels. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, or any other seasonings you like. If you’re opting for chili powder or paprika, now is the time to sprinkle them on for extra flavor.
Step 3: Grill the Corn
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).
Place the corn on the grill, either directly over the flames or on the cooler side of the grill.
Grill the corn for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until all sides are nicely charred and the kernels are tender. You can remove the husks completely halfway through the grilling process if you prefer a more direct char.
Step 4: Serve and Enjoy
Remove the corn from the grill and place it on a serving platter.
If desired, add more melted butter, fresh herbs, lime wedges, and grated Parmesan cheese for an extra flavor boost.
