Grilled Cheese Burgers: The Ultimate Comfort Food Mashup

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. While it heats up, divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and form each portion into a patty. Season each patty with salt and pepper on both sides. Set aside.

Cook the Burgers:
Place the patties on the preheated grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. For a cheeseburger, add a slice of cheese to each patty about one minute before the burgers are done cooking, letting it melt.

Grill the Cheese Sandwiches:
While the burgers are cooking, heat a separate skillet or griddle over medium heat. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
