Got Major Sink Stains? Here’s What to Try Before Replacing It

Introduction: Before you toss out that stained sink, give these simple cleaning methods a try! Whether it’s hard water stains, rust, or grime buildup, you can restore your sink to its shiny, fresh appearance without the expense of a full replacement.

Methods to Try:

Baking Soda and Vinegar:

Sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda on the stained areas of your sink.

Pour white vinegar over the baking soda. You’ll see some fizzing, which helps lift the stains.

Let it sit for 15-20 minutes, then scrub with a non-abrasive sponge.

Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

Lemon and Salt Scrub:

Cut a lemon in half and dip it in salt.

Rub the lemon directly onto the stained areas. The citric acid in the lemon combined with the abrasiveness of the salt will help break down the stain.

After scrubbing, rinse with warm water. You can also wipe down with a clean cloth for added shine.

Cream of Tartar Paste:
