Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the olive oil or melted butter and warm water. Stir until a soft, sticky dough forms. If it’s too dry, add a splash more water.
Knead & Shape:
Lightly flour a surface and knead the dough just a few times—no need to overwork it. Shape into a round loaf or flatten slightly for quicker baking.
Bake:
Place the dough on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the center is cooked through.
Cool & Serve:
Let the bread cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm with butter, jam, or alongside soups and stews.
