Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter with the sugar until light and fluffy. This may take about 3–5 minutes.
Add Eggs and Vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Alternate Mixing: Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture in three parts, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the flour mixture.
Fold in Blueberries: Gently fold in the flour-coated blueberries with a spatula.
Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 45–55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve: Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
