Garlic Shrimp Gratin

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Cook the Shrimp:
In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter with olive oil. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
Add the shrimp and season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, until they turn pink. Remove from heat.

Prepare the Sauce:
In a bowl, mix together heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and lemon juice. Stir until the cheese is well incorporated. Pour this mixture over the shrimp and stir to coat the shrimp evenly.

Assemble the Gratin:
Transfer the shrimp and sauce mixture to a baking dish. Evenly sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of the shrimp.

Bake:
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

Garnish & Serve:
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley. Serve hot and enjoy the creamy, garlicky goodness!
