Garlic Parmesan Shrimp Rice Bowls: A Flavor-Packed, One-Bowl Meal

Begin by cooking the rice according to the package instructions. For added flavor, use chicken broth instead of water and season with a pinch of salt.
Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork and set it aside while you prepare the shrimp.
Prepare the Shrimp:

In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, until the garlic becomes fragrant but not burnt.
Add the shrimp to the pan in a single layer. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
Once the shrimp are cooked, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the grated Parmesan cheese. Toss the shrimp in the sauce to coat them in the buttery garlic-Parmesan goodness.
Assemble the Bowls:

Divide the cooked rice into serving bowls.
Spoon the garlic Parmesan shrimp over the rice.
Garnish with additional grated Parmesan cheese, fresh parsley, and a sprinkle of black pepper.
Serve:

Serve immediately and enjoy the rich, buttery flavors of the garlic Parmesan shrimp on a bed of perfectly cooked rice.
