Garlic Parmesan Crusted Chicken

Prepare the Coating: In a shallow bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until evenly combined.

Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This will help the coating stick better.

Egg Wash: In another shallow bowl, whisk the two eggs together until smooth. Dip each chicken breast into the egg wash, ensuring it’s fully coated.

Coat the Chicken: After dipping the chicken breasts in the egg wash, coat them with the Parmesan and breadcrumb mixture. Press gently to ensure the breadcrumbs stick evenly on both sides.

Cook the Chicken: Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil. Once the oil is hot, place the chicken breasts in the skillet. Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until the crust is golden brown and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Rest and Serve: Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving. This helps retain the juices inside the chicken.
