Garlic Parmesan Crusted Chicken: A Flavorful and Crispy Delight

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. If the chicken breasts are thick, you can butterfly them or pound them gently to an even thickness for more uniform cooking.
Make the crust mixture:

In a shallow bowl or plate, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine evenly.
Coat the chicken:

Dredge each chicken breast in the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure the crumbs stick. Coat both sides evenly for a crispy, flavorful crust.
Sear the chicken:

In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Once the butter is melted and the oil is hot, add the chicken breasts to the skillet.
Sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown. The crust should form a crispy layer on the outside of the chicken.
Bake the chicken:

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake the chicken for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). This ensures the chicken is fully cooked and juicy on the inside.
Garnish and serve:

Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with optional lemon wedges for an extra burst of flavor.
