Garlic Butter Steak with Cheesy Herb Pasta: A Savory Feast for the Senses

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
Drain the pasta, reserving about 1/2 cup of pasta water, and set aside.
2. Prepare the Garlic Butter Steak:
Season both sides of the steaks generously with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the steaks and cook for 4-5 minutes per side (or longer, depending on your preferred level of doneness).
Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the minced garlic to the pan. Let it sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the butter, fresh rosemary or thyme, and parsley to the pan. Spoon the melted butter over the steaks as they cook for another 2 minutes to infuse the flavors.
Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing them against the grain.
3. Make the Cheesy Herb Pasta:
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Add the Parmesan and mozzarella cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
Toss the cooked pasta into the creamy cheese sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed to thin the sauce. Season with dried basil, oregano, salt, and pepper to taste.
Garnish with fresh parsley or basil.
4. Serve:
Plate the cheesy herb pasta and top it with slices of the garlic butter steak. Spoon any remaining garlic butter sauce from the pan over the steak for extra flavor.
Garnish with more fresh parsley or herbs and serve immediately.
