Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Brush both sides of the bread slices with olive oil and place them on a baking sheet.
Toast the bread in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Once toasted, rub the warm bread with the cut side of the garlic clove for an extra layer of flavor. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Cook the Shrimp:
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant (be careful not to burn the garlic).
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, until the shrimp turns pink and opaque. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
Stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley, mixing well.
Serve:
Arrange the toasted bread on plates and spoon the garlic butter shrimp over the top, making sure to drizzle some of the delicious garlic butter sauce from the pan onto the bread.
Garnish with extra parsley if desired and serve immediately.
