Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut down the top of the lobster tail’s shell, lengthwise, to expose the meat. Gently pull the meat up and over the top of the shell, leaving the end of the lobster tail attached at the base.
Use a sharp knife to make a small slit down the center of the exposed lobster meat. This will allow the garlic butter to soak in and cook the meat more evenly.
Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
Stir in the lemon juice, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper. Allow the sauce to simmer for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
Brush the Lobster with Garlic Butter:
Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Using a pastry brush, generously brush the lobster meat with the garlic butter mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated.
Bake the Lobster Tails:
Place the lobster tails in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 140°F (60°C). The lobster meat should be tender and juicy.
Serve:
Remove the lobster tails from the oven and brush them with any remaining garlic butter.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
