Flavorful Carne Asada Tostadas with Guacamole and Pico de Gallo

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, lime juice, cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Place the steak in a shallow dish or zip-top bag and pour the marinade over it. Ensure the steak is evenly coated.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor.
Step 2: Cook the Carne Asada
Preheat a grill or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
Remove the steak from the marinade, allowing excess liquid to drip off.
Grill for 3–4 minutes per side (for medium-rare) or adjust cooking time to your preferred doneness.
Transfer the steak to a cutting board and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing it into thin strips.
Step 3: Assemble the Tostadas
Spread a layer of guacamole onto each tostada shell.
Top with slices of carne asada and a generous spoonful of pico de gallo.
Add optional toppings like shredded lettuce, sour cream, or cheese for extra texture and flavor.
