Family-Style Cabbage and Egg Delight: A Recipe That Will Drive You Crazy!

Prepare the Rice: In a pot, bring 500ml of water to a boil. Add the basmati rice and cook for about 10 minutes, or until tender. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Vegetables: In a large pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the onions, grated carrot, and minced garlic. Sauté until the vegetables soften and the onions turn translucent.

Cook the Minced Meat: Add the minced pork and beef mixture to the pan with the vegetables. Stir occasionally, breaking up the meat into small pieces. Season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and the Italian herb mixture. Cook until the meat is browned and cooked through.

Add the Cabbage: Shred the cabbage and add it to the pan with the cooked meat mixture. Pour in 500ml of water and stir to combine. Cover and let it cook for 15-20 minutes until the cabbage wilts and softens.

Make the Sauce: In a small saucepan, melt the butter. Add the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly to create a roux. Slowly add 1 cup of hot water, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Once the sauce thickens, remove from heat.

Combine the Ingredients: Add the cooked rice to the cabbage and meat mixture. Pour the prepared sauce over it, stirring gently to combine. Crack the eggs directly into the mixture, stirring to incorporate them well. Cover the pan and let it simmer for another 5-7 minutes, allowing the eggs to cook into the dish.

Finish and Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and dill. Serve hot and enjoy this comforting, flavorful family dish.
