Double Chocolate Coca-Cola Cake: A Sweet, Rich Delight

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.

Make the Cake Batter: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add Coca-Cola and cocoa powder, stirring until smooth. Once melted, remove from heat and set aside.

Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.

Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Add the flour mixture to the melted butter and Coca-Cola mixture. Stir in the buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla essence. Mix until smooth.

Bake the Cake: Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool completely in the pan.

Make the Frosting: In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the cocoa powder and Coca-Cola, bringing the mixture to a boil. Remove from heat and add the powdered sugar, mixing until smooth.

Frost the Cake: Once the cake has cooled, spread the frosting evenly over the top. If desired, garnish with chopped pecans or your favorite nuts for added texture and flavor.
