Sear the steak for 2 minutes per side (adjust for your preferred doneness). Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.
2. Toast the Croissants
In the same pan, lightly toast the croissants to add extra crispiness.
3. Assemble the Croissant Delight
Lay mozzarella cheese on the bottom half of each toasted croissant.
Layer the seared steak on top of the mozzarella.
Place a slice of cheddar cheese over the steak, then top with a generous amount of caramelized onions.
If you enjoy a hint of sweetness, drizzle a little honey mustard over the steak before closing the croissant.
4. Serve
Close the croissant, cut in half if desired, and serve hot.
