1. Prepare the Turkey Wings:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Season the turkey wings with salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, and garlic powder.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Brown the turkey wings on all sides for 5-7 minutes, then remove and set aside.
2. Cook the Vegetables:
In the same skillet, add the chopped onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic. Sauté for about 5 minutes, until softened.
Add the sliced mushrooms and continue cooking for another 5 minutes, until the mushrooms release their moisture and become tender.
3. Make the Gravy:
Add the turkey wings back to the skillet with the vegetables and mushrooms. Pour in the chicken or turkey broth.
If you’d like a thicker gravy, sprinkle the flour over the mixture and stir well to combine.
Cover the skillet with a lid and transfer it to the oven. Bake for 45-60 minutes, until the turkey wings are fully cooked and tender.
For a creamy gravy, stir in heavy cream or milk about 10 minutes before serving.
4. Serve:
Once the turkey wings are cooked through and the gravy has thickened, remove from the oven.
Serve the turkey wings with the mushroom gravy spooned over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
