Deep-Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Stuffed Wonton Bites

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and strawberry jam. Mix until smooth and creamy. If you’d like an extra strawberry kick, fold in some diced fresh strawberries.

Assemble the Wontons:
Lay out the wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Spoon a small amount of the cheesecake filling into the center of each wrapper. Be sure not to overfill, as this will make sealing difficult.

Seal the Wontons:
Dip your finger in water and lightly wet the edges of each wonton wrapper. Fold the wrapper over to form a triangle (or into a square for a different shape), and press the edges tightly to seal, ensuring no filling escapes.

Fry the Wontons:
Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to about 350°F (175°C). Fry the wontons in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Once fried, remove the wontons with a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Serve:
Serve the deep-fried strawberry cheesecake wontons warm. Top with whipped cream, extra strawberry jam or sauce, and fresh strawberry slices for an extra touch of sweetness.
