Cuts Cough Like a Knife: Bay Leaf Milk – A Simple Remedy for a Cough-Free Night

2-3 fresh bay leaves (or 1 tablespoon dried bay leaves)
1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy, depending on preference)
1 teaspoon honey (optional, for additional soothing and sweetness)
Instructions:
Prepare the Bay Leaves:

If using fresh bay leaves, wash them thoroughly. If using dried bay leaves, measure out about 1 tablespoon.
Heat the Milk:

Pour the milk into a small saucepan and heat it over medium heat. Bring it to a simmer, not a full boil.
Infuse the Bay Leaves:

Add the bay leaves to the milk once it’s simmering. Let them steep in the milk for about 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavor and healing properties of the bay leaves to infuse.
Strain and Sweeten (Optional):

After steeping, strain the milk to remove the bay leaves. Add honey to the milk if desired for extra soothing and a bit of sweetness.
Drink Before Bed:
