Place the corned beef brisket into the bottom of your slow cooker, fat side up.
Sprinkle the included seasoning packet over the brisket.
Step 2: Add Vegetables
Layer the potatoes, carrots, and onion around the corned beef in the slow cooker.
Pour 4 cups of water over the contents of the slow cooker, making sure the meat and vegetables are mostly submerged.
Step 3: Cook
Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours, or until the corned beef is fork-tender.
About 1 hour before serving, add the cabbage wedges to the slow cooker, pushing them gently into the water.
Continue cooking for the remaining hour, or until the cabbage is tender.
Step 4: Serve
Once cooked, remove the corned beef from the slow cooker and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Serve the sliced corned beef with the cooked vegetables and a spoonful of the cooking liquid.
