Crock Pot Smothered Pork Chops: Tender and Flavorful Comfort Food

If desired, season the pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, sear the pork chops for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. This step is optional but adds extra flavor.
Prepare the Crock Pot:

In the bottom of your Crock Pot, spread the sliced onions evenly.
In a bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, ranch seasoning mix, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Layer the Pork Chops:

Place the seared (or uncooked) pork chops on top of the onions in the Crock Pot. Pour the soup mixture over the pork chops, ensuring they are well-coated.
Slow Cook:

Cover the Crock Pot and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the pork chops are tender and fully cooked through.
Serve:

Once done, remove the pork chops from the Crock Pot and serve them with the creamy gravy. You can spoon the gravy over mashed potatoes, rice, or your favorite side dish.
