Crispy Funnel Cake Sticks with Cinnamon Glaze

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until you have a smooth, slightly thick batter. Do not overmix.
2. Heat the Oil

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep skillet or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C). Use a thermometer to ensure the oil maintains a steady temperature for even frying.
3. Pipe the Sticks

Transfer the batter into a piping bag fitted with a star tip or a sturdy ziplock bag with one corner snipped off. Carefully pipe 4-5 inch straight lines of batter directly into the hot oil, working in small batches. Be cautious to avoid oil splatter.
4. Fry to Golden Perfection

Fry each stick for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the cooked sticks onto a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
5. Make the Cinnamon Glaze

In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add more milk for a thinner consistency, if needed.
6. Glaze and Serve

Arrange the funnel cake sticks on a serving plate and generously drizzle the warm cinnamon glaze over the top. Serve immediately and enjoy the sweet, crispy goodness!
