Crispy Air Fryer Fried Shrimp: A Healthier, Crunchy Seafood Delight

Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels to ensure the coating sticks. Set aside.
Set Up the Dredging Stations:

In a shallow bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Mix well.
In another shallow bowl, place the flour.
In a third shallow bowl, beat the egg.
Coat the Shrimp:

Dredge each shrimp first in the flour, making sure it’s evenly coated, then dip it into the egg wash, and finally coat it in the panko breadcrumb mixture. Press down gently to ensure the breadcrumbs stick to the shrimp.
Preheat the Air Fryer:

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
Air Fry the Shrimp:

Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they’re not overcrowded. Spray the tops of the shrimp with a little more cooking spray to ensure they crisp up nicely.
Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the shrimp are golden brown and crispy.
Serve:

Remove the shrimp from the air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, such as cocktail sauce, tartar sauce, or a spicy aioli.
