Prepare the Oven and Baking Pan:
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and line a round or square cake pan (about 20 cm in diameter) with parchment paper.
Mix Wet Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Gradually add the milk and mix again to incorporate.
Combine Dry Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, and salt together.
Slowly fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently to avoid overmixing. The batter will be slightly thick.
Bake the Cake:
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve:
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, dust the top of the cake with powdered sugar for a lovely finishing touch.
