Cranberry Orange Whipped Feta with Pistachios: A Festive Holiday Appetizer

In a food processor or blender, combine the crumbled feta cheese, cream cheese, Greek yogurt (or sour cream), olive oil, and honey (if using).
Blend until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed. You may also add a little more olive oil for a smoother texture if desired.
Transfer the whipped feta mixture to a serving dish and spread it evenly.
Step 2: Prepare the Cranberry Orange Topping

In a small saucepan, combine the chopped cranberries, fresh orange juice, orange zest, and honey or maple syrup.
Cook over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries have softened and the mixture has thickened slightly.
Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes before spooning it over the whipped feta.
Step 3: Add the Pistachios

Sprinkle the chopped pistachios over the cranberry orange topping for added texture and crunch.
Step 4: Serve

Serve the cranberry orange whipped feta immediately with crackers, crostini, or fresh vegetable slices for dipping.
