In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, drained crab meat, chopped green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce. Mix everything until smooth and well combined.
Assemble the Wontons:
Place a teaspoon of the crab and cream cheese mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
Wet the edges of the wrapper with a little water, fold the wrapper over into a triangle, and seal it tightly by pressing down on the edges.
Fry the Wontons:
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Make sure there’s enough oil to submerge the wontons.
Fry the wontons in batches, cooking for about 3-4 minutes until they turn golden brown and crispy.
Once fried, remove the wontons from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Serve:
Serve the Crab Rangoon Wontons warm, paired with your favorite sweet and sour sauce or soy sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
