Crab Cakes: A Delicious Seafood Delight

In a large mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, bread crumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, parsley, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Gently mix the ingredients together, making sure the crab meat stays in large chunks. Be careful not to overmix, as you want the crab to remain tender.
If the mixture is too loose, add additional bread crumbs, a tablespoon at a time, until the mixture holds together well enough to form patties.
Step 2: Form the Crab Cakes
Using your hands, shape the mixture into 4-6 crab cakes, depending on your preferred size. Gently press each cake to flatten slightly, making them about 1 inch thick.
Step 3: Cook the Crab Cakes
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Once the oil is hot, add the crab cakes to the skillet, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.
Cook the crab cakes for about 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy.
Once cooked, transfer the crab cakes to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Step 4: Serve
Serve the crab cakes hot with lemon wedges for squeezing over the top. You can also serve them with tartar sauce, remoulade, or your favorite dipping sauce.
