Spray a small amount of cleaning solution or plain water onto the microfiber cloth. Gently slide the cloth between the shutter slats. Use the tongs to grip both sides of the slat and wipe them down, pulling the cloth to the edges of each slat to remove all dust. This will collect the dust directly on the cloth and prevent it from flying around.
Optional – Vacuum the Shutters:
If the shutters are particularly dusty, you can use a vacuum with a brush attachment before wiping down with the cloth to remove larger particles.
Wipe Down the Slats:
For any remaining dust or streaks, go over the slats with a dry microfiber cloth for a quick finish. This step ensures that they are completely clean and free of any excess moisture.
