Classic Garlic Bread

In a small bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
2. Slice and Spread
Slice the French bread in half lengthwise (or into thick slices if preferred).
Evenly spread the garlic butter mixture over both halves of the bread.
If using Parmesan cheese, sprinkle it over the top.
3. Bake the Garlic Bread
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place the bread cut-side up on a baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and golden brown.
4. Optional: Broil for Extra Crispiness
If you like extra-crispy garlic bread, switch the oven to broil for 1-2 minutes until lightly toasted on top. Watch carefully to avoid burning.
5. Serve and Enjoy
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute.
Slice and serve warm alongside your favorite pasta, soup, or salad.
