Classic Dill Pickle Macaroni Salad: A Tangy and Creamy Twist

Cook the Macaroni: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside to cool.

Prepare the Dressing: In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, and pickle juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste. If you prefer a more tangy flavor, add a little more pickle juice.

Mix the Salad: Once the macaroni has cooled, add it to the bowl with the dressing. Stir gently to combine. Add the chopped dill pickles, diced red onion, and chopped fresh dill. Mix until everything is evenly coated.

Chill: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, allowing the flavors to meld together.

Serve: Before serving, give the salad a quick stir. You can garnish with additional fresh dill or a few extra pickle slices if you like. Serve cold as a refreshing side dish.
