Classic Banana Bread: A Moist and Delicious Treat

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal of the bread.
Step 2: Mash the Bananas

In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork or potato masher until smooth. Set aside.
Step 3: Mix Wet Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir until the mixture is well combined.
Step 4: Add Dry Ingredients

In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon (if using). Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Step 5: Fold in Optional Add-ins

If you’re using walnuts or chocolate chips, fold them into the batter gently.
Step 6: Pour into the Pan and Bake

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean or with just a few crumbs.
Step 7: Cool and Serve

Let the banana bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
