“Cinnamon Sugar Churro Donuts: A Sweet, Spiced Delight in Every Bite”

Prepare the Doughnut Batter: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, salt, and 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon. In another bowl, mix the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. The dough should be thick and slightly sticky.
Heat the Oil: In a deep skillet or saucepan, heat 2 inches of vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
Shape the Donuts: Using a spoon or small ice cream scoop, carefully drop spoonfuls of dough into the hot oil, shaping them into small balls or rounded shapes. Fry the donuts in batches, turning them occasionally, for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown on all sides.
Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar Coating: While the donuts are frying, mix the 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon together in a shallow bowl.
Coat the Donuts: Once the donuts are cooked, use a slotted spoon to remove them from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil. While still warm, roll each donut in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
Serve: Let the donuts cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm for the best flavor and texture!
