Cinnamon-Sugar Banana Bread: A Sweet, Spiced Twist on a Classic Favorite

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar using an electric mixer or a whisk until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, until well combined.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
If desired, fold in chopped walnuts or chocolate chips.
Step 2: Prepare the Cinnamon-Sugar Topping

In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon for the topping.
Step 3: Bake the Banana Bread

Pour the banana bread batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the top of the batter.
Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
If the top starts to brown too quickly, cover it loosely with aluminum foil during the last 15 minutes of baking.
Step 4: Cool and Serve

Remove the banana bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes.
Transfer the bread to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
Slice and serve as a delicious snack or dessert.
