Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake: A Sweet Twist on Two Classics

In a small bowl, mix the warm milk, yeast, and granulated sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until the yeast becomes frothy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, salt, and egg. Pour in the yeast mixture and stir to combine.
Gradually add the flour, one cup at a time, mixing until the dough forms. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Add the warm water as needed to help form the dough.
Cover the dough with a clean kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
Make the Cheesecake Filling:

In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next.
Set the cheesecake filling aside.
Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar Swirl:

In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon until fully combined. Set aside.
Assemble the Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan or a similar-sized round cake pan.
Punch down the risen dough and roll it out into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
Spread the cinnamon sugar swirl mixture evenly over the dough.
Carefully roll the dough into a log, starting from the long side. Slice the dough into about 8-10 equal pieces.
Arrange the cinnamon roll pieces in the prepared pan, stacking them slightly on top of each other. Leave a little space between each roll to allow for expansion during baking.
Pour the cheesecake filling over the cinnamon rolls, gently spreading it to fill any gaps.
Bake the Cheesecake:

Bake the cinnamon roll cheesecake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the cheesecake is set and the cinnamon rolls are golden brown on top.
Allow the cheesecake to cool completely in the pan before removing the sides of the springform pan.
Top and Serve:

Once the cheesecake has cooled, mix the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make the glaze.
Drizzle the glaze over the top of the cheesecake and let it set for a few minutes.
Slice and serve this indulgent cinnamon roll cheesecake for a delightful treat!
