Chocolate Swirl Milk Bread

– In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt.
– Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg to the dry ingredients. Combine until a dough forms.
– Knead the dough on a floured surface until it becomes smooth and elastic.
– Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size.
– In a small saucepan, melt chocolate chips with cocoa powder, milk, and sugar over low heat. Stir until smooth and combined.
– Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
– Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle.
– Spread the chocolate mixture evenly over the dough.
– Roll up the dough tightly from the long side to form a log.
– Slice the log lengthwise to create two long pieces, and twist them together with the cut sides facing up.
– Place the twisted dough into a greased loaf pan.
– Cover the loaf pan with a damp cloth and let the dough rise again in a warm place.
– Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
– Bake the loaf until it’s golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
– Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
