Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cook the lasagna noodles:
Cook the lasagna noodles according to package directions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
3. Cook the ground beef:
In a large pan, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat, then stir in the marinara sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Assemble the lasagna:
Start by adding a thin layer of the marinara sauce and beef mixture to the bottom of a baking dish.
Place a layer of lasagna noodles over the sauce.
Top with a layer of pepperoni slices and a generous layer of mozzarella cheese.
Repeat the layers until you’ve used all ingredients, finishing with a top layer of mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
5. Bake the lasagna:
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove the foil during the last 5 minutes of baking to allow the top to brown.
6. Garnish and serve:
Once out of the oven, sprinkle with chopped green onions for a fresh, vibrant garnish.
Let the lasagna cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
