Cheesy Meatball Sandwich Melt: A Hearty, Melty Delight

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Mix until the ingredients are well incorporated, being careful not to overmix.
Form the mixture into 12-16 meatballs, depending on your desired size.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the meatballs and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally until they are browned on all sides and cooked through.
Once cooked, remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside.
Toast the Buns:

While the meatballs are cooking, slice the sandwich rolls in half.
Heat a separate skillet over medium heat and add butter. Once melted, place the buns cut side down in the skillet and toast until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes.
Assemble the Sandwiches:

Preheat your oven’s broiler to high.
Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
Place 3-4 meatballs on top of the sauce in each bun. Spoon a bit more marinara sauce over the meatballs, and then top with a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese.
Place the sandwiches under the broiler for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve:

Remove the sandwiches from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired.
Serve immediately and enjoy the cheesy, savory goodness.
