Cheesy Egg Toast


Heat a pan over medium heat and add butter.

Place the bread slices in the pan, toasting them on both sides until golden and crispy. Remove the bread from the pan and set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Eggs
In the same pan, crack 2 eggs. You can cook them sunny-side up, scrambled, or to your preference. Season with salt and pepper.

When the eggs are nearly done, sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the eggs. Allow it to melt for a few seconds.

Step 3: Assemble the Toast
Place the toasted bread back in the pan, or onto a plate.

Top each slice of toast with the cheesy eggs.

Step 4: Serve
Garnish with fresh herbs or a sprinkle of chili flakes for a little extra zing, if desired.

Serve hot and enjoy!
