Cheesy Beef Burritos with Fries: A Comforting Tex-Mex Feast

In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned and fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes). Drain any excess fat if necessary. Add the taco seasoning mix and water, stirring to combine. Let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat and set aside.

Cook the Fries:
While the beef is cooking, preheat your oven according to the instructions on the French fries package. Spread the frozen fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake according to the package instructions, about 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy. For extra crispiness, flip the fries halfway through baking.

Assemble the Burritos:
Lay out the flour tortillas on a clean surface. In the center of each tortilla, spoon a portion of the seasoned ground beef mixture. Sprinkle with both cheddar and mozzarella cheese, layering it generously.

Roll the Burritos:
Fold in the sides of the tortilla and carefully roll up the burrito from the bottom, making sure the filling stays securely inside.

Serve with Fries:
Once the burritos are rolled, place them on a serving plate. Serve with crispy French fries on the side. Optionally, top the burritos with sour cream and garnish with fresh cilantro.
