Caramelized Banana Chocolate Cake

Prepare the Caramelized Bananas: In a small pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced bananas and sugar. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bananas soften and caramelize, turning golden brown. Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.

Make the Cake Batter: Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a round cake pan (about 20 cm or 8 inches in diameter).

In a bowl, beat the egg, sugar, and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Gradually add the oil and milk, mixing well to combine.

Sift together the wheat flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until you have a smooth batter.

Assemble the Cake: Pour the cake batter into the prepared cake pan. Evenly distribute the caramelized bananas on top of the batter. Gently press them into the batter.

Bake the Cake: Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan before transferring it to a serving platter.
