Caramel Sticky Buns

These Caramel Sticky Buns are soft, pillowy, and drenched in a rich, buttery caramel sauce with crunchy pecans. The perfect balance of gooey sweetness and a soft, fluffy dough, these buns make for a delightful breakfast or dessert that will have everyone coming back for more!

Ingredients
For the Dough:
1 cup (240ml) warm milk (110°F/43°C)
2 ¼ tsp (1 packet) active dry yeast
¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar
¼ cup (55g) unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg + 1 egg yolk, room temperature
3 ½ cups (440g) all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
For the Caramel Topping:
½ cup (115g) unsalted butter
¾ cup (150g) brown sugar
¼ cup (80ml) heavy cream
¼ cup (80ml) light corn syrup (for extra gooeyness)
½ tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup (120g) chopped pecans (optional but delicious)
For the Filling:
½ cup (100g) brown sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon
¼ cup (55g) unsalted butter, softened
