Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup: A Light and Nourishing Way to Boost Your Health

Wash and chop the cabbage into bite-sized pieces. Chop the onions, carrots, celery, and tomatoes. Set all vegetables aside.
Sauté the Aromatics:

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes, or until the onion becomes soft and translucent.
Simmer the Soup:

Add the chopped cabbage, carrots, celery, and tomatoes to the pot. Stir well to combine with the onions and garlic.
Pour in the vegetable or chicken broth, and add the thyme, basil, black pepper, and salt. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and the flavors have melded together.
Serve:

Once the soup is ready, remove it from heat. Adjust the seasoning if necessary, adding more salt, pepper, or herbs to taste.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or cilantro if desired.
