Billion Dollar Buttery Biscuits

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Place the butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish and put the dish in the oven. Let the butter melt as the oven heats up.
Make the Biscuit Dough:

In a large bowl, combine the Bisquick or baking mix with the sour cream. Stir until the mixture begins to come together.
Slowly add the 7-Up (or similar soda), and mix until a soft dough forms. You may need to adjust the amount of soda slightly, depending on the texture.
Form the Biscuits:

Once the butter has melted in the baking dish, carefully spoon the biscuit dough into the dish, spreading it evenly. The dough will absorb some of the butter for extra flavor.
Bake the Biscuits:

Bake the biscuits in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and crispy.
Serve:

Remove the dish from the oven, and allow the biscuits to cool slightly. Serve warm and enjoy their buttery, fluffy goodness!
