Basic Loaf Pan Cheesecake: A Simple, Creamy Dessert

Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
In a medium bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
Press the mixture into the bottom of a lightly greased 9×5-inch loaf pan. Use the back of a spoon or your fingers to press it firmly into an even layer.
Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
Make the Cheesecake Filling:

In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar together using a hand mixer or stand mixer until smooth and creamy. This should take about 2-3 minutes.
Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
If you’re using sour cream, add it to the mixture and blend until smooth.
Assemble and Bake:

Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
Bake the cheesecake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly. It will firm up as it cools.
Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Then transfer it to the refrigerator to chill for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
Serve and Enjoy:

When ready to serve, you can top the cheesecake with fresh berries, whipped cream, or your favorite fruit sauce. Slice and enjoy!
