Banana and Peanut Butter Chewy Sticks: A Treat Your Pup Will Love

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix the Wet Ingredients:

In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe banana with a fork until smooth. Add the peanut butter and mix until well combined. If you’re using cinnamon, add it to the banana and peanut butter mixture.
Add Dry Ingredients:

Slowly incorporate the whole wheat flour and rolled oats into the wet mixture, stirring until combined. Add water little by little, until the dough comes together and reaches a sticky, but manageable consistency.
Shape the Dough:

Dust your hands with a little flour and roll the dough into small logs or sticks about 3 inches long and 1 inch wide. Arrange them on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they’re spaced out.
Bake the Chewy Sticks:

Bake the treats in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and firm to the touch. If your pup loves them extra chewy, reduce the baking time slightly.
Cool and Serve:

Allow the banana and peanut butter chewy sticks to cool completely before serving them to your pup. Store them in an airtight container for up to 1 week, or refrigerate them for longer shelf life.
