Banana and Peanut Butter Chewy Sticks: A Nutritious, Tail-Wagging Treat for Your Dog

In a large bowl, mash the ripe banana until smooth. Add the peanut butter, honey (if using), and cinnamon (if desired). Stir to combine.
Gradually add the flour, stirring to form a dough. Add water a tablespoon at a time until the dough comes together and is easy to handle. The dough should be firm but not too dry.
Shape the Chewy Sticks:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and roll it out to about 1/4-inch thickness.
Use a knife or pizza cutter to slice the dough into strips or sticks of your preferred size, depending on your dog’s chewing habits.
Bake the Treats:

Place the dough strips on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the treats are golden brown and firm to the touch.
Let the chewy sticks cool completely before serving them to your pup.
Serve and Store:

Once cooled, serve the chewy sticks as a special snack, or use them for training.
Store the treats in an airtight container for up to 1 week. You can also freeze them for longer storage.
