Mix Baking Soda and Sugar:
In a small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of baking soda with 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar. The sugar attracts the ants, while the baking soda disrupts their digestive system, eventually killing them.
Create the Bait:
If you’d like, you can add a tiny bit of water to the mixture to create a paste-like consistency. This helps keep the bait in place where you place it.
Place the Bait:
Set the mixture near areas where you’ve seen ants, such as along baseboards, entry points, or near ant trails. The ants will be drawn to the sugar and carry the bait back to their colony.
Wait for Results:
Give it time—usually within a day or two, you’ll start noticing fewer ants. The bait will disrupt the colony and eventually eliminate the infestation.
Reapply if Needed:
If you still see ants after a couple of days, replace the bait and continue to monitor the areas. It may take a little time, but this method is natural and effective.
